Cane-ing out in the Kitchen Recipes

When it comes to food, “The Real” ladies are always on the hunt for tasty new treats, and this year they’re stepping up their game with candy cane milkshakes, popcorn and whoopee pies! Check out these sweet and peppermint-y recipes! 

Candy Cane Milkshake

Ingredients:
1 crushed candy cane
3/4 cup milk of choice
1 scoop vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Blend together! Then, pour in a milkshake glass with crushed candy canes on the rim. 

Candy Cane Popcorn

Ingredients:
1 bag popcorn, popped
Candy cane, crushed
6 ounces white chocolate, melted, with red food coloring added 

Directions:
Combine the popcorn, candy cane and colorful chocolate until mixed. Then, pour the mixture onto a baking sheet and spread out. Let the chocolate cool and break up any large pieces before serving.

Candy Cane Ice Cream Sandwiches

Ingredients:
Ice cream sandwiches
Candy canes in Ziploc bag

Directions:
Crush up some candy canes and roll the edges of each sandwich in the crushed candy. If you’re using a hammer, just remember – safety first!
