Grown-Up Grilled Cheese Recipes

It’s time to upgrade your same ol’-same ol’ grilled cheese sandwich and usher in a new age of gooey, melted, crunchy goodness! Say goodbye to just slapping a slice of cheese between two slices of bread, and try out these yummy new recipes. Things are about to get REAL cheesy around here!

Caramel Apple Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients:
Your choice of bread
1 Slice of cheddar cheese
Caramel sauce
Apple
Butter
Cooked bacon

Directions:
1. Lay out two slices of the bread of your choice. 

2. Place cheddar cheese on one slice of bread.

3. Take the second slice of bread and drizzle caramel sauce on top.

4. Then, add cooked bacon on top of the cheese slice.

5. Place thinly sliced apples on top of the bacon.

6. Place 2nd slice of bread on top of the apples.

7. Place the sandwich into a buttered pan.

8. Flip and grill until everything is melted.

9. Enjoy your Caramel Apple Grilled Cheese Sandwich!

Portobello Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:
Your choice of bread
1 Slice of provolone cheese
Herb cheese spread
Portobello mushrooms
Sundried tomatoes
Spinach leaves
Butter 

Directions:
1. Lay two slices of the bread of your choice.

2. Place a slice of provolone cheese one piece of bread.

3. Spread herb cheese spread on the second slice of bread. 

4. Place mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, and spinach leaves on top of provolone cheese. Use the amount to your liking. 

5. Place second slice of bread on top of all of your toppings, and place sandwich in a buttered pan.

7. Flip and grill sandwich until everything is melted.

8. Enjoy your Portobello Grilled Cheese!

Shrimp Chile Grilled Cheese

Ingredients: 
Choice of bread
Shrimp
Shallots
Green chile
Parmesan cheese
Butter

Directions:
1. Lay out two slices of your choice of bread. 

2. Place shrimp, shallots, green chilies, and Parmesan cheese into a bowl. 

3. Mix ingredients until they are well blended. 

4. Place spread on one slice of bread and then place the second slice of bread over it.

5. Place sandwich in buttered pan.

6. Flip and grill until ready.

7. Enjoy your Shrimp Chile Grilled Cheese!
