Beef Stroganoff

Want your man wrapped around your little finger? Grab an apron and whip up Tamera’s killer Valentine’s Day meal! This Beef Stroganoff recipe is sure to leave a lasting impression.

TAMERA’S BEEF STROGANOFF

Ingredients
1 lb beef tenderloin or sirloin steak cut in bite-sized pieces
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 cut clove garlic
1 tbsp butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 – 10 oz sliced mushrooms
1/2 pint sour cream — more if needed or desired

Directions
• Saute meat in butter (or olive oil) with salt, pepper and garlic.
• Once browned, add cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms, and cook uncovered over low heat, stirring occasionally until mixture is thick and meat is tender — about 20 min. Add 1/4 cup water if needed to maintain consistency.
• Just before serving, add sour cream. Heat but do not boil.
• Serve over rice, or egg noodles. Makes 4 – 6 servings.
