Patti Stanger's Dating Tips on How to Meet the One

Millionaire matchmaker Patti Stanger dished with “The Real” and hosts Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley about her best dating tips for all the single ladies!

Trade secrets include advice about dating more than one person at a time, keeping your options open when it comes to dating outside your immediate area, and enlisting friends and family to fix you up.

Find out why you (if you're single) need to be more like a shark and start traveling.

Patti Stanger Dating Tips

• Don’t put all your eggs in one basket! As Patti would say, “Date a pair and a spare,” because men have always been doing this, so why aren’t you?! They are constantly looking for fish in the water, so keep those eyes open and that schedule flexible.

• Patti wants you to expand your universe. Have you been staying in the same town and finding yourself unlucky in love? Girl, you need to get some train/plane/bus tickets and go exploring! Patti thinks you might find your man in Italy, so ciao, baby!

• On top of traveling, try to get out of your normal routine and make an impression on a possible new love interest in a new part of town. Change your gym, go to a new grocery store, a new church, or start drinking and eating at new places. You never know whose eye you might catch.

• Make your friends and family be your matchmaker. Yes, you need to put them to WERK! Your mom is always asking why you're single anyway, so let her find you a man! Be open to being fixed up, and you might be pleasantly surprised by who comes along.
