Rihanna Confirms New Music on the Way!

Are you ready for a new RiRi album? The singer and fashion and beauty mogul recently revealed she’s working on it.

The pop star spoke to the New York Times' T Magazine about launching her groundbreaking Fenty line with luxury conglomerate LVMH, and hinted at what’s to come in the music department.

Rihanna confirmed she is working on a reggae album, although she also dashed the dreams of little monsters everywhere – despite previous rumors, Rihanna is not expected to collaborate with Lady Gaga. “It’s not in the books right now, but I’m not against it,” she said. As for another song with Drake? That’s not happening “anytime soon.”

Rihanna hasn’t decided on a name for the upcoming album, but she says she might call it “R9,” “thanks to the Navy.”

“Anti,” Rihanna’s 2016 effort, was the last time the pop star released a full album. While fans are champing at the bit for fresh tracks from the nine-time Grammy winner, there’s also fashion and beauty creations coming very soon. Rihanna’s Fenty line will hit Fenty.com on May 29.

Rihanna opened up about her “thicc” journey as well, detailing how it affects her approach to fashion. “It just changed how I dress in terms of my proportions. You wear what looks good on you and that’s it. I’m thick and curvy right now, and so if I can’t wear my own stuff then, I mean, that’s not gonna work, right? And my size is not the biggest size,” Rihanna explained, saying that her size is “actually closer to the smallest size” they carry.
