Loni's Green Bean Bacon Casserole

"The Real" ladies know how to get down in the kitchen! They showed off their favorite holiday dishes during the REAL-style potluck, and now you can try them at home too! Check out Loni's go-to Turkey Day recipe!


1 lb of thawed green beans
1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup French-fried onions
6 slices of bacon
1 chopped onion
1/3 cup milk
1/2 red bell pepper
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 teaspoons of soy sauce
Salt and pepper to your licking
1/3 cup French-fried onions

• Preheat oven to 350° F.
• Cut green beans into bite-size pieces.
• Fry bacon until crispy, then drain on a paper towel and crumble.
• Cook onion and bell pepper in a frying pan. Once tender, stir in the wine and bacon bits.
• Mix in cream of mushroom soup, milk, butter, and soy sauce.
• Season with pepper to taste.
• Add green beans, cheese and bacon to the mixture. Transfer to an 8x11 inch baking dish, and sprinkle French-fried onions on top.
• Bake uncovered for 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
• Let cool for 10 mins., then serve!
