Ribs with Tart Cherry BBQ Sauce

The next time you have date night, wow your man with this delicious, home-cooked meal!

RIBS WITH TART CHERRY BBQ SAUCE

Ingredients 2 cups of chopped cherries
1 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 shallots
2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
Salt and pepper
2 shallots
A pinch of red pepper flakes

Directions
• Cook your cherries, brown sugar and balsamic vinegar in a sauce pan over medium heat. Let simmer for about 10 minutes, or until mixture becomes thick.
• Add ketchup, tomato paste, shallots, red wine vinegar and red pepper flakes. Then stir.
• Let sauce simmer on low for another 5 minutes and add salt and pepper to taste.
• Let sauce cool before serving, and enjoy!
