All summer long, we’re giving you the exclusive scoop behind #TheReal ladies’ most standout looks. From fashion to makeup and hair, we’re breaking down the style inspiration, and sharing how you can achieve the look. First up, Adrienne Bailon in a Helmut Lang dress, Christian Louboutin heels and Topshop accessories!

STYLE / Brittani Anderson

“This is a black and white #HelmutLang dress. I found inspiration from Carrie Bradshaw’s newspaper dress in “Sex in the City.” When I saw it, there was an instant attraction to it. Once I showed it to Adrienne, she was like, “Yes, we’re here for Carrie Bradshaw!”

HAIR / Ray D.

“We always like to take into account the outfit first. This dress has a bold pattern, so we decided to do something where her face would be shown. We went with a sleek back style.”

MAKEUP / Eva Kim

“When Adrienne does a red lip, we always do #RubyRoo!”
