For this week’s #StoryOfTheLook, we’re spotlighting Loni Love’s flyest locs, braids and twists! Find out how you can recreate these braided beauty looks from her hairstylist Robbi Rogers!

Look #1 - Ombre Braids
Ombre braids are one of the hottest looks this summer! An easy way to achieve the lovely ombre look, is to use temporary hair color spray from your local beauty supply store.

Look #2 - Fabulous Faux Locs
Check out Loni’s crochet silky locs! “I knotted and twisted her dreads across the crown to create a pompadour,” Robbi shares. The extra faux locs were used to create the coiled design along her hairline.

Look #3 - A Pop of Purple
Who doesn’t love a colorful spin on long extensions? “This blouse gave me life and the idea,” Robbi shares. “I decided to add lavender/purple ombré braids for flair.” To recreate this style, roll the front section of your braids into a dipped feather-like bang!

Look #4 - Golden Accessories
Box braids, locs and twists are beautiful on their own, but every now and then you may want to add some bling! “Loni’s silk dreads are left hanging in the back and we added gold accent beads for decoration!”
