Remy Ma & Papoose Welcome Baby Girl After 'Tough Labor'

Remy Ma and husband Papoose are proud new parents!

The “All the Way Up” rapper, 38, shared the happy news on Instagram on Friday afternoon with a post that read, “It’s a girl!”

She added, “The Golden Child is here!!! Thank you @papoosepapoose for making me the happiest wife in the planet. #BlackLove #RemAndPap.”

Remy, already mom to son Jace, added that her baby girl is “mad cutteee.”

Just hours earlier, Papoose told fans his wife was going through a difficult labor, writing on social media, “Tough labor… but my wife is still fighting through it. She’s a warrior! Keep us in your prayers!”

The birth comes just a few days after the “Love & Hip Hop” star flaunted her bare baby bump on social media along with the caption, “Almost done baking.”

The “Wake Me Up” star and Papoose announced they were expecting their first child together in July, shortly after they renewed their wedding vows on their 10-year anniversary.

In October, the couple told "The Real" ladies they were already considering having another baby.

“When we did IVF, we did two cycles. The first cycle, we only got one egg and I was nervous. I was like, ‘Let’s just do it again so we’ll have more,’” Remy explained. “We got one again the second time, so we had two. One was a boy, one was a girl, but I didn’t want to know which one [the doctors implanted].”

“So I told [Papoose], if he behaves and doesn’t spoil ‘The Golden Child’ like he’s planning to do, we have a good baby and he accepts my nanny stuff and all of that, maybe somewhere around 2020, we’ll do the other one.”

The rapper also spoke about her “Grease”-themed baby shower, which was attended by Lil' Kim, Erica Mena and her “Love & Hip” co-star Yandy Smith-Harris, and others.

We can’t wait for the first snap of the newborn!
