'The Real' Hosts Weigh In on Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper's Oscars Chemistry

Good acting, friendship... or something more? That was the question on nearly every viewer’s mind as they watched Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper perform the mega-hit “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born” at Sunday night’s 91st Annual Oscars.

Bradley and Gaga wowed the crowd with an intimate rendition of their Academy Award-winning song, and their passionate duet culminated with the pair sitting side by side at the piano with their heads nestled against one another. They even capped off the stunning song by flashing each other sweet smiles. Their chemistry is palpable beyond the big screen.

While Bradley Cooper is currently in a long-term relationship with model Irina Shayk, with whom he has a daughter, the world couldn’t help but buzz about his clear closeness with Gaga. Leave it to the internet to be all about its own ideas of what’s up.

Naturally, speculation about Gaga’s relationship with Bradley became a seriously hot topic from Hollywood’s biggest night. As Adrienne asked on Monday’s show, “Did Gaga and Bradley’s performance leave you blushing?”

“It’s so hard to talk about this, because you have an actual relationship with children involved, so I don’t want to speak on that,“ Jeannie noted. To be real, Irina Shayk was sitting front row at the Oscars as Bradley’s date, and it looks like she’s got nothing but love for Gaga. Jeannie added, "But they did give you a very believable performance, and for anybody who watched the movie, you want to believe that that’s real off-screen. You know what I mean? You want to feel it. You want to feel the energy of the characters.”

For anyone not familiar with “A Star Is Born,” the film follows the tumultuous romantic journey of over-the-hill singer Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper) and his pop star protégé Ally (Lady Gaga). The love between the characters definitely comes through in the film, and when it comes to Adrienne’s opinion, Gaga and Bradley’s connection is really just a case of solid, award-worthy acting. They’re playing a part, people!

“That’s why they’re at the Oscars. They’re bomb actors,” Adrienne explained. “I just feel like they’re conveying a feeling, and the performance was paying homage to the film.”

But Loni has another theory.

“I think she’s in love with Bradley Cooper,” Loni chimed in, pointing to the fact that Gaga just broke up with her fiancé, Christian Carino.

Why? “That’s what happens when you work close with people, you doing movies, you fall for ‘em. I fell for him and I was just looking at the screen!” Loni added.

What do you think, Real fam?
