Will Khloé Kardashian Be the Next Bachelorette? Don't Count On It

Don’t expect Khloé Kardashian to be handing out roses as the next Bachelorette!

The reality star is setting the record straight on whether she’ll take on the coveted leading lady role in the long-running dating competition show, and she’s definitely not mincing words about rumors saying she’s in talks for the gig.

After “Bachelor” producer Mike Fleiss tweeted that he had been in contact with Kris Jenner regarding Khloé’s potential stint as a future Bachelorette, Khloé took to social media to slam his claims.

“I have already been in contact with my dear friend @KrisJenner about @khloekardashian as #TheBachelorette . Stay tuned!” Fleiss wrote on Friday.

Khloé was quick to debunk his claims, as was her sister Kim, who went as far as posting a text chain conversation between what appeared to be Khloé and their mom, Kris.

“Ewwww I mean put some respeck on my name,” Khloé replied, when asked if the Bachelorette news was true.

Khloé even responded to Mike Fleiss directly on Saturday, calling him “insensitive,” and explaining that she doesn’t want to be considered “clickbait.”

Khloé has been in the spotlight since her very public split with Tristan Thompson, who was allegedly caught cheating with Kylie Jenner’s bestie, Jordyn Woods. The Hollywood Unlocked originally broke the story, and the CEO of the pop culture site, Jason Lee, stopped by "The Real" on Monday to give an update on all the buzzed-about drama.

According to Jason, all the Kardashians have unfollowed Jordyn at this time, but the Jenners have not. There’s also speculation swirling that Jordyn was spotted applying for jobs. As for that whole “Bachelorette” thing, does Lee think people want to see the world-famous Kardashian as the star of another hit reality show?

“I think people are just fascinated with the story right now,” he said.

That’s for sure. The so-called “fake news” about Khloé’s next move became a hot topic of discussion over the weekend. As Loni and Adrienne pointed out, the Kardashians came through with the receipts to prove a Bachelorette position wasn’t necessarily in the cards for Khloé. “Sometimes that’s the best way for celebrities to handle stuff like this,” Adrienne said of the power of social media control.

What do you think, Real fam? It doesn’t look like Khloé is going to be headed to the Bachelor mansion, but would you want to see her or another celebrity look for love on national television? Who would be your dream choice for the role?
