Whoa, Does Halle Berry Have a Huge Back Tattoo?

Halle Berry has some serious ink… or does she?!

The 52-year-old actress posted a revealing photo of herself on Instagram this week that immediately got the internet buzzing.

Halle’s caption read, “Who says I’m not a mermaid,” alongside a pic that showed off her bare back as she held a frying pan in the kitchen while rocking some sparkly pants.

While the sexy shot was enough to turn fans’ heads, it was Halle’s tat debut that immediately got everyone talking. Halle revealed a tattoo of a leafy vine that extended down her entire spine, and now the world is wondering whether it’s real or not.

Who says I’m not a mermaid 🧜‍♀️

Halle took to Instagram on Wednesday to share another snap of herself. This time she’s seen looking in the mirror, and the caption says, “SMILE -a curve that sets everything straight!” And, yes, the back tattoo is visible in the pic.

Halle is not the only celeb who’s showed off major back ink. Lady Gaga recently got a rose on her spine as a tribute to the song “La Vie en Rose,” which she sang in “A Star Is Born.” Angelina Jolie famously has a bunch of significant tats on her back. Drake has a number of permanent decorations in the spot as well. Ben Affleck made headlines when he was spotted with a colorful piece, which he claimed was “fake for a movie.”

Berry has a few projects in the works, including the upcoming “John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum.” We’ll probably know soon enough whether her ink is forever or not!

What do you think of Halle’s look? Are you a fan of tattoos?
