Who Made TIME’s 100 Most Influential People List?

It’s that time again. Time magazine has released its annual Most Influential People list. Who made the cut in 2019? Actors, comedians, chefs, politicians and headline-makers make up this year’s roster.

The “pioneer” category includes Sandra Oh, Regina King, The Rock, and Chrissy Teigen. Sandra was profiled by “Grey’s Anatomy” creator Shonda Rhimes, who called her a “virtuoso.”

Artists on the list are notable performers Ariana Grande, Mahershala Ali, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Regina King, BTS, Rami Malek and Ozuna.

Gal Gadot gushed over her former co-star The Rock, saying, “He is the true embodiment of the idea that people may forget what you said, people may forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. Dwayne always makes sure people feel their best when he is around.”

Among those listed under the Icons category are Lady Gaga, Spike Lee, Taylor Swift, and Michelle Obama. Beyoncé’ penned the piece about Michelle Obama, writing, “I’m honored to know such a brilliant black woman who’s spoken about the sacrifice it takes to balance her passions while remaining a supportive partner and mother, and now a best-selling author with Becoming. She has continued to open herself up, even if it meant being criticized. She has continued to be a portrait of grace.”

Political figures Donald Trump, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Nancy Pelosi are also included. LeBron James, Gayle King and Tiger Woods round out the list of Titans.

What do you think of Time’s choices? Is there someone who wasn’t included that you think deserves a spot?
