Here’s Why Pink Won’t Post Pictures of Her Kids Anymore

Pink has had it with mom-shamers on social media and now she’s taking a real stand. The singer revealed that after experiencing hateful comments from internet trolls on her Instagram posts, she’s no longer going to share photos of her children, 7-year-old Willow and 2-year-old Jameson.

Pink was on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Monday, where she explained how she came to the decision to keep her kids offline from this point on.

Pink has been known to respond to criticism directly in the past, admitting that if she has the time, she goes in.

“Sometimes I feel like I can change their minds,” she told Ellen.

After Instagram commenters slammed her for a photo she shared of her family with a pelican while on vacation where Jameson wasn’t in his swim diaper, Pink was fed up with the “rude” and “mean-spirited” haters. Pink went on to say that people went as far as someone should call child services because he wasn’t wearing his diaper. Following the incident, she had enough.

Pink shared, “I cried so hard after that because I like to share my family. It’s my proudest moment. I’m prouder of my kids than anything I’ve done in my whole life and I just won't share them anymore, I won't do it. I'm not posting pictures of them anymore."

"There’s a kind way to be online. And I’m open to kindness,” the 37-year-old Grammy winner added.

What do you think about Pink’s response to internet trolls? Have you noticed mommy-shaming on social media?
