Amy Schumer Gives Birth to Her ‘Royal Baby’

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their yet-to-be-named baby boy on the morning of May 6, and Amy Schumer revealed she gave birth to her first child on May 5.

Amy took to social media to announce the news, and in true comedic fashion, she shouted out the fact that her little one’s birthday ended up being one day prior to Baby Sussex himself.

“10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby baby was born,” she captioned a photo that showed her holding her newborn baby boy while getting a kiss from husband Chris Fischer.

Amy and Meghan Markle were pregnant during a similar timeframe, a note which Amy shouted out when initially announcing she was pregnant, when she photoshopped her and her husband's faces on Harry and Meghan’s bodies.

Amy has documented some of her pregnancy throughout the journey. In November, she revealed that she had been hospitalized due to hyperemesis gravidarum, which causes intense morning sickness. Amy was forced to cancel remaining dates on her tour due to complications from the condition.

Amy was clearly preoccupied and did not attend last night’s Met Gala, but she did manage to stop by the venue on the way to the hospital the night prior!

Loni took some time yesterday to congratulate her “sister in comedy.” “This is going to be one funny Mama ... we are about to have some fun!!!!!!!!!” she gushed.
