Aww! Meghan Markle Shares Adorable New Archie Photo on Mother’s Day

Meghan Markle celebrated her first Mother’s Day as a mom after giving birth on May 6th to her son with Prince Harry, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. In honor of the special occasion, The Duke and Duchess’ Instagram, @sussexroyal, shared a special message to mothers all over the world, and offered a cute glimpse of the newborn.

“Paying tribute to all mothers today - past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered. We honor and celebrate each and every one of you. Today is Mother’s Day in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, Japan, and several countries across Europe. This is the first Mother’s Day for The Duchess of Sussex,” the caption read, along with the quote from “lands” by Nayyirah Waheed, “my mother was my first country; the first place i ever lived.”

The photo accompanying the sweet sentiment was a photo of Archie’s feet with Meghan holding his little heel.

Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland has been with her since just prior to Archie's birth.

Both Harry and Meghan beamed with pride last week as they introduced their baby boy to the world. Meghan gushed of motherhood, “It's magic, it's pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world, so I'm really happy.”
