Jennifer Lopez has made a worldwide name for herself as a triple threat master of dance, singing and acting. Now it appears her 11-year-old daughter Emme is developing her own vocal talents, as evidenced in a recently-shared video that features her belting Alicia Keys’ 2003 hit, “If I Ain’t Got You.”
Lopez documented her preparation for her “Today Show” concert on May 6, and Emme is seen in the clip, working on her own singing skills, and she totally kills it!
Not only does Emme sing the song beautifully with piano, she also learns to add some expressive flair to the performance with pointing movement. Her mom helps her through the mini-recital, and she looks incredibly proud of her poised daughter though it all.
“We should have her come out and do something on tour,” J.Lo adds!
J.Lo previously showcased her kids’ musical talents on social media, posting a video in December of Emme doing a ukulele rendition of “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You” with Alex Rodriguez’s daughters Natasha and Ella.
"I don't know if she'll follow in my footsteps, but she definitely has the genes," Lopez said of Emme’s budding talent in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in January. "She's a natural. Some people, you put them out there and you can just tell. She's a little me."
Emme is Lopez's daughter with fellow hitmaker, ex-husband Marc Anthony. Emme has a twin brother, Max.
