Scarlett Johansson Is Engaged!

An Avenger is getting ready to walk down the aisle. Scarlett Johansson is officially engaged to “Saturday Night Live” star Colin Jost after two years of dating.

Scarlett’s publicist confirmed the big news to the Associated Press on Sunday, and announced that a date for the wedding has not yet been set.

Colin, “SNL’s" head writer and co-anchor of weekend update, and Scarlett began dating in 2017. They've kept their relationship relatively private, rarely making high-profile public appearances together at the start of their courtship. They took their romance to the red carpet of “Avengers: Infinity War” in 2018, and attended the Emmys together the same year.

"She's wonderful. She's working, so otherwise, she'd be here," Colin said at the 2017 Emmys, when asked about his rumored girlfriend at the time. "She's pretty cool. It's hard to have a lot of complaints, she's pretty awesome.”

“I’m very happy, I feel very lucky,” he added.

Johansson has been married twice. She wed Ryan Reynolds 2008 and Romain Dauriac in 2014. She and Dauriac have a daughter, Rose Dorothy. This is Jost's first marriage.

Congratulations to the happy couple! What other famous duos recently got engaged? Check out the gallery below for some lovey-dovey announcements.
