Ciara Is Headed to Harvard’s Business of Entertainment, Media & Sports Program

Ciara is leveling up her education! The Grammy-winning singer was recently accepted by Harvard’s Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports program.

It looks like Ciara is already repping her new school, as she posed proudly in a Harvard sweater with a crimson “H” on it in an enthusiastic Instagram post Monday, announcing her exciting academic endeavor.

Ciara wrote, “I always dreamt of going to college, but by God’s grace, my music career took me on a path that I’m so thankful for. This week I got accepted into Harvard! Words cannot describe my excitement! Thank you @anitaelberse for a once in in a lifetime opportunity to attend @Harvard BEMS. #WhyNotHER.”

Ciara’s husband Russell Wilson commented on her post, “Leveling All the way Up! I see you Momma! I can’t wait to see our daughter follow in your footsteps!” Fellow stars Lala Anthony and Lily Collins also replied, expressing their support for Ciara’s next academic chapter.

It’s no surprise that the 33-year-old would want take steps to advance her business career. She recently launched “Why Not You” productions with NFL pro husband Russell Wilson and Beauty Marks Entertainment, a company “where Music intersects with Film, Fashion, Technology & Philanthropy!”

Other notable names like Katie Holmes, LL Cool J, Karlie Kloss and Channing Tatum have all taken part in Harvard’s four-day Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports program, which, according to the school’s website, helps students “develop and execute more effective business strategies.”
