La La Anthony Pens Sweet Message in Honor of Carmelo’s Birthday

La La Anthony took the opportunity to address Carmelo Anthony's critics in a sweet birthday message for her husband.

The “Power” star showed support for her man on Wednesday, championing the NBA player with some inspiring words of loving encouragement, applauding his spirit and “humble” behavior.

La La wrote, “No matter how much you’ve been “blamed” “overlooked” “underestimated” “scapegoated” “blame it on Melo” (you see how that turned out right?) regardless of all of the things “they” say. You’ve stayed solid. You’ve never lashed out. You’ve never even spoken a single bad word.”

She went on to praise his work ethic, saying, “You stay humble. You stay in the gym 24/7. A lot of people could learn from you bcuz by now most would have been broken down. Happy Birthday to a real one. Don’t count him out just yet..theres more to come. Happy Birthday you always. #stayme7o.”

“Happy Birthday Mel,” chimed in La La’s pal Kim Kardashian, and Gabrielle Union echoed the same sentiment. Tika Sumpter, Holly Robinson Peete, and Marlon Wayans were among other notable names who wished Melo well in La La’s comments.

La La Anthony was just cast in a juicy role — she’ll play Brian Austin Green’s wife in the upcoming "Beverly Hills, 90210” reboot!
