Lenny Kravitz Says Jason Momoa Is Like a ‘Brother,’ Talks About Their Blended Families

Lenny Kravitz is opening up about the close relationship he shares with his ex-wife Lisa Bonet’s husband Jason Momoa. The singer spoke to U.K.’s The Times about their blended families and the bond he and Jason have formed through it all.

Lenny and Lisa Bonet were married in 1987 and split in 1993, and they have a daughter together, Zoë Kravitz. Lisa and Jason Momoa have been together for nearly 15 and wed in 2012. They have two children together.

"You go through a marriage with somebody, you break up and it's very difficult," Kravitz said of his divorce. “But [Lisa and I] put the work in and we took the time so that we could become best friends again."

As for Lisa’s now-husband, Lenny’s got nothing but love. He revealed, “Our families are blended. I love her husband -- he's like a brother to me -- and I love the kids. It's beautiful, but it takes work.”

Last December, Jason and Lenny even got matching bone skull rings, which they sported proudly on social media.

The two of them recently celebrated Zoe Kravitz’s wedding to Karl Glusman earlier this month in France. Lenny walked his daughter down the aisle, an event he anticipated to be a moving moment. He told People before the big day, “When that happens it’ll be a trip, and emotional for all the reasons anybody would understand, but also because that’s the one thing my mother talked about before she died, that she wanted to live long enough to see her granddaughter get married.”
