Lamar Odom Hopes to ‘Rebuild That Bridge’ With Kardashians

Since releasing his memoir “Darkness to Light” in May, Lamar Odom has been opening up about his past relationships, his experiences with addiction and what he wants for his future. While appearing on TMZ Live, the former NBA star even discussed his desire to repair his relationship with the Kardashians and why that time in his life was so significant to him.

When asked if there’s a cautionary tale that comes out of his reality TV days, Lamar explained, “Doing reality TV and being married to Khloé — besides having children, and besides me doing this motivational speaking I'm about to start doing — that was the best part, that was the most memorable and best part of my adulthood.”

While he might regret how things with Khloé came to an end, he doesn’t regret the time they spent together. “So, there’s nothing I regret about that. And hopefully me going to public speaking could even bring me closer to the Kardashians and help me rebuild that bridge.”

Lamar spoke about his marriage and subsequent divorce to Khloé in his book, admitting he had remorse about how he handled things. He wrote, “I wish I could have been more of a man. It still bothers me to this day. But regret is something we have to learn to live with.”

Khloé congratulated her ex Lamar when his book became a bestseller in June, commenting on his Instagram post, “Look at God!!! Congratulations Lammy! Keep shining.”
