Tristan Thompson Shuts Down Rumors He Cheated with Khloé

Even though Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are no longer together, Tristan is setting the record straight about how his relationship with his ex started. The NBA player took to Twitter to fire back at speculation that he was rekindling a romance with Jordan Craig, the mother of his son on Wednesday. In a follow-up statement, he went on to defend Khloé and refute rumors that they got together while he was with Craig.

Tristan responded to the “current rumors” via Twitter, writing, “I have spent the last few months training for my upcoming nba season and making sure that I am in the best shape possible. I have not been on vacations at all this summer and the current rumors spreading are 100% false.”

Tristan maintained the he met Khloé when he was unattached and that negativity surrounding their former courtship is undeserved. He added, “Also, when I met Khloe I was SINGLE. The negative comments that are constantly being directed towards her are unnecessary. She does not deserve all this backlash for my wrong doings. Both Khloè and Jordan have been nothing but great mothers to my kids.”

After documents surfaced alleging that Tristan and Khloé struck up a relationship while Jordan Craig was pregnant with her son with Tristan, 2-year-old Prince, Khloé shared her own side of the story via Instagram. She asserted on an Instagram Story in June, “MY TRUTH IS: I met Tristan because HE CHOSE to go on a blind date with me. A mutual friend set us up. After going on some dates, Tristan told me that he had an ex that was pregnant. Obviously, I was reluctant about us continuing to date or start a relationship. “He pleaded with me that the relationship was over long before we met. He had me talk with his most inner circle. He showed me physical proof (correspondence between the two) and had me on calls with his lawyers to prove his point.”

Khloé claimed she was unaware of Tristan’s relationship status at the time and apologized for “pain that has been created either way.”
