Ciara’s Giving Us Major Inspiration with a Message to Her Baby Girl

Ciara kicked off Tuesday with an empowering message to her daughter, which comes on the heels of her new venture with husband Russell Wilson. Ciara and Russell just revealed they’ll be taking on part ownership of the Seattle Sounders FC. “@DangeRussWilson and I are fired up to announce we are Team Owners of the Seattle @SoundersFC one of the best soccer franchises in the world! We can’t wait for our kids to grow up loving Soccer! Family is everything,” the singer announced on Instagram Tuesday.

Not only did Ciara reveal the big sports endeavor, she took the opportunity to pen an inspiring message to her daughter, Sienna Princess. “Baby Girl, You will be able to do anything you put your mind to if you simply believe! Never walk in a room thinking of what you can’t do because of your gender! If you think it, it’s possible. If you dream it, it’s possible. If you believe it, it’s possible. It’s that simple,” she wrote next to a video of the 2-year-old practicing on the soccer field.

Ciara looked to the future of female-owned sports teams by writing, “There’s only a small handful of female owners of any Major League Sports team, and I’m proud to be one of them! You are next Baby Girl!” She ended the heartwarming note by reaching out to girls all over the world, saying, “Go Si Si mama! ...And to every girl in this world, you can do anything you want to do and be anything you want to be! It truly possible if you believe.#WhyNotYou #GirlGang.”

This isn’t the first time Ciara has touched on the significance of women supporting women so they can achieve their dreams. "I think there is nothing better than women coming together to share our journeys and inspire each other and lift each other up," she commented to CNN in 2016. "It's very powerful."
