Keshia Knight Pulliam Launches Venture Capitalist Fund for Women of Color

Actress Keshia Knight Pulliam is stepping into a new role, but it might not be what you think! She and business partner Arian Simone are teaming up to help women entrepreneurs of color. The Fearless Fund was put into motion to “bridge the gap in venture capital funding for women of color founders building scalable, growth aggressive companies,” according to Keshia’s Instagram announcement.

Keshia shared, “We’ve been busy!! Only 2% of Venture Capital Investors are African American & less than 1% are women. We decided to be a part of the solution by investing in our community!! I am so excited to announce that @Ariansimone & I have started The Fearless Fund... A fund for us by us!!”

If you’re not familiar with Arian Simone, she’s an entrepreneur and author who’s behind books such as “My Fabulous & Fearless Journey: From Homeless to Hollywood” and “Fearless Faith + Hustle.” The Fearless Fund’s partners include entrepreneur Rodney Sampson and 22 Fund founder Tracy Gray.

As their official site lays out, “Fearless Fund was established to address the gap that exists in venture capital funding for WOC-led businesses and to finally push the needle on the abysmal statistics that drive the current narrative for WOC-led businesses today.”
