Can you imagine stretching in child’s pose only to turn around and see the Duchess of Sussex doing the same in your yoga class? Well, apparently a group of unsuspecting exercisers in New York City were recently joined by none other than Meghan Markle!
According to People, Markle landed in the Big Apple and headed to Modo Yoga studio in Manhattan’s West Village on Friday.
“There were lots of sweet, knowing smiles,” a source told the outlet.
Markle has been a yoga devotee for some time, and, as the source notes, she’s visited the studio in the past. Markle’s mom Doria Ragland is an instructor in Los Angeles, and Markle has been practicing with her since she was a little girl.
The NYC trip wasn’t just about getting a workout in: Meghan was in town to watch her close friend Serena Williams compete in the U.S. Open finals. The stadium’s Jumbotron even caught her on camera as she sat in the crowd on Saturday.
Markle has not traveled without her son Archie, who was born May 6, until this New York City getaway. The 38-year-old royal has shown up for Serena during the tennis champ’s matches in the past.
