Football season just kicked off, but fans are already speculating about which performer will take the stage during the big championship game in February. Headlining the Super Bowl halftime show is quite the coveted gig, and rumors are flying that Jennifer Lopez is a serious contender.
“Jennifer and the NFL have been in talks for a while, but there are many factors that go into the deal before it’s official. Jennifer has been saying for a while she wants to perform at the halftime show and it looks like her dream may come true,” a source told “Entertainment Tonight.”
The 2020 game takes place in Miami, and J.Lo herself has addressed the possibility. “Yeah, we’ve thought about the Super Bowl and it’s in Miami, it’s a big deal but we’ll see,” she told “ET” in July. “They make their own decisions over there.”
Jennifer is busy prepping for the release of her film “Hustlers,” which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival this week.
Maroon 5 nabbed the halftime performance spot for the 2019 Super Bowl, while Justin Timberlake took the stage in 2018. Would you be into seeing J.Lo headline the halftime show? Who’s your top pick for the job?
