It’s the fashion moment J.Lo fans have been waiting for! Jennifer Lopez just slipped back into one of the most iconic red carpet looks of all time — the plunging Versace gown she wore to the 2000 Grammys.
Jennifer closed Versace’s spring 2020 fashion show and, whoa — did she make a statement! Jennifer first rocked the famed dress back in 2000, and almost 20 years after its debut, she’s still slaying in an updated version. The new dress wasn’t identical to the original (it’s actually more revealing!), but it features a bright jungle print, a neckline that dips to the navel, and plenty of jeweled accents!

J.Lo’s still got it and then some: She even picked up the fashion icon award at the CFDA Awards this year. Her 2000 Versace is considered one of the most memorable style moments ever, and — plot twist! — it almost didn’t happen. But once she put it on, her manager Benny Medina urged her to rock it.
“We hit the red carpet and it was a frenzy! The flashes started going in a way that it’s not usually,” Jennifer remembered in a video about the event she shared earlier this year. “There was an extra kinetic energy there.”
Well, that energy appears to remain, even nearly two decades later!
