Rico Rodriguez on What He Wants to Do After ‘Modern Family’ Wraps!

“Modern Family” fans have fallen in love with Rico Rodriguez’s portrayal of Manny Delgado over the past decade, but as the show prepares to come to a close after Season 11, the now 21-year-old is contemplating his next professional chapter!

Rico stopped by “The Real” on Wednesday to chat all about the show’s final season, and he even offered up some insight on what he wants to do after the show wraps for good. Rico revealed he has plans to keep entertaining, and you might even find him behind the camera someday!

He explained, “A couple of years ago, my sister and I, we started our own production company. We’re hoping write our own stuff and produce and direct.”

In addition to sharing his future career ambitions, Rico also told the hosts that he’s a cast member on the “Modern Family” crew softball team, where he plays against other TV show crews. Perhaps “The Real” should start their own team?
