When it comes to Kim Kardashian’s eldest daughter, North West, the apple does not fall far from the tree.
In an interview with Allure published Wednesday, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star revealed that her 6-year-old is absolutely captivated by the world of skin care — specifically with sheet masks.
“She’s found it really fun to do a face mask,” the 39-year-old explained. “I’ll get her sheet masks, and if she’s having a sleepover, I’ll do a mask with the girls. They think it’s so funny for some reason. I don’t know why. They just think they’re so fascinating.”
During her chat with writer Devon Abelman conducted at an Ulta Beauty store in New York City, the mother of four also discussed how her glam has evolved through the years.
“I used to wear gems all the time in high school. That was like my thing,” she remarked. “I’d put them over my eyebrows, and I used to go to Prince concerts all the time with purple gems. I was so into going to Michaels and buying tons of glitzy things and gluing them on.”
Nowadays, Kanye West’s wife generally sticks to her signature look, but she’s not afraid to mix it up.
“Every time I do color, I love it. I’ve done neon liner, but I was like, Oh, is this too crazy?” she said. “But then, I’m like, You know what? I do the same thing all the time or something similar — I’ll have my smoky, I’ll have my natural, I’ll have my winged liner. I definitely like to get comfortable, but I don’t mind experimenting.”
When it comes to her KKW Beauty brand, Kardashian has a general rule: “Ultimately, what I’m wearing is what I think [consumers] are interested in purchasing. I really try to stay true to that with KKW Beauty.”
Keep doing your thang, Kim!
