Exclusive! Eva Marcille Explains Why She Didn’t Bring Her Kids to Kenya Moore’s Barbie Party

Eva Marcille sets the record straight on “The Real.”
On Sunday's “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 premiere, the ladies attended Kenya Moore's Barbie-themed coming out party for her baby girl, Brooklyn Daly.
However, at the bash, the then-pregnant Eva told Porsha Williams she didn't bring her son, Michael Todd Jr., because “group events sometimes can get crazy.” Additionally, the “presentation party” was the first time the “America's Next Top Model” winner really hung out with Kenya.
On Monday's live episode, Marcille explained she attended the soirée solo because she had to make a flight, and because her kids were in school.
“I left early from the event. I had a flight to catch. I was actually coming to L.A.,” the 35-year-old said during Girl Chat. “My kids are in school. Her kid is still in a stroller. Like, it really wasn't that deep. And my kids don't know her kids yet.”

Because she and Kenya did not “have a friendship yet” at this point, Marcille didn't feel the need to “take my kids out of school that I pay for.”
“The Young and the Restless” actress denies being shady, saying the other Housewives “really made a mountain out of a molehill.”
“I don't understand what the problem is about where I bring my kids or don't bring my kids,” the reality TV personality proclaimed. “They're my kids. It's my discretion.”

In September, the Bravo star welcomed her second son, Maverick, with husband Michael Sterling. She also has daughter, Marley, from a previous relationship.
