Kim Kardashian Surprises Mom Kris Jenner with Birthday Lunch at Family’s Childhood Home

Kim Kardashian took a trip down memory lane for mom Kris Jenner’s 64th birthday.

On Tuesday, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star revealed she planned the ultimate surprise for the momager’s big day.

Though attendees — including family members and close friends — arrived at the Beverly Hills Hotel, they learned that lunch was actually being held at Kim’s childhood home.

Kanye West’s wife not only rented out the residence but also recreated the family’s table settings, used the old wallpaper as décor, and leased every car Kris and Kim’s late father — Robert Kardashian — ever owned.

“Today we celebrate my mom. Anyone that knows her, knows how sentimental she is. For her birthday I planned a small lunch, with just her kids and her closest friends of 40 + years. I sent out invites with a location where we all met,” the KKW Beauty founder wrote. “When everyone arrived, I told them I had a surprise and this wasn’t where we would be eating. I then gave everyone the REAL invitation and once everyone saw the address for where we would be going tears filled the room. I rented our childhood home.”

Though Kim was able to hide her tears from her sisters — including Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner — she admitted to going into her old bedroom and bawling her eyes out when the door was closed!

The 39-year-old previously wrote her mom a touching message on social media, exclaiming, “Happy Birthday mama!!!! Today is your day! You are the best mom in the entire world. I don’t know how you do it! Seriously my love and respect for you grows every single day seeing how you manage to take care of 6 kids, a million grand kids and make everyone feel so loved and special.”

The mother of four continued, “You’ve given us the tools to be the best we can be and have taught us that kindness rules the world! I can’t wait to celebrate you today! I love you so much!”

Family always comes first.
