Not everyone is ecstatic about Kelly Dodd’s recent engagement.
On Wednesday on Instagram, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star revealed she is going to marry Fox News Channel senior correspondent Rick Leventhal after meeting through Ramona Singer from “The Real Housewives of New York City.”
During an interview with Us Weekly on Thursday, the Bravolebrity said ex-husband Michael Dodd is “not happy” about her relationship news, and is even “mean” about her new man.
“It’s very contentious right now. He gets upset,” the reality TV personality explained. “He knows who [Rick] is. And he’s very mean about him. He calls him Gonzo. And then he’ll send me pictures of him. He’s just mean. He’s not happy for me.”
To make matters worse, the 44-year-old alleges Michael has threatened to expose her.
“He wants to come after me. He says, ‘I’m going to expose you.’ I’m like, ‘OK, go ahead, expose me,’” she dished. “It’s already out there! Everything’s out there. There’s nothing you can say or do that I haven’t been exposed about.”
On a lighter note, the Positive Beverage co-founder said her and Michael’s 13-year-old daughter, Jolie, is supportive of the engagement.
“Oh, my gosh, she is so excited. She’s like my partner. She’s such a good kid,” she revealed. “She’s got it going on. She knows exactly what she needs to do to get to the next place.”
Additionally, Kelly is already planning her big day, which may feature SEVERAL Housewives from different cities!
“I just had lunch with [Ramona] today. She wants to be a bridesmaid,” Kelly revealed. “[Fellow “RHONY” star] Dorinda [Medley] wants to officiate it. I talked to Dorinda today.”
Get ready, Bravo fans!
