Paul Rudd once gave theatergoers a show they will never forget!
On Tuesday’s episode of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” the “Living with Yourself” star opened up about having a wardrobe malfunction while doing a play with Rachel Weisz.
While the two discussed the lack of shirtless scenes in Rudd’s “Ant-Man” franchise, the host asked the actor, “Have you done full nude? Professionally?"
The 50-year-old explained, "One time, I was in a play. I know it doesn't count [in] a play. It was unintentional."
Apparently, while doing a scene in boxer shorts, Rudd accidentally exposed himself to the audience!
"I was laying down on a bed, and I was doing a scene with the lovely actress Rachel Weisz," he said. "We were laying in bed and I was wearing boxer shorts, and all of a sudden, the audience started chuckling and I didn't know why. And I realized it was 'cause I had my leg up and I was totally hanging brain."
But what exactly is “hanging brain”?
"Hanging brain — for those of you who are thinking about writing a book to go on display at the airport — hanging brain is not so much the penis hanging out, but more of the testicles."
Appropriately, the play, based on his description, was likely his 2001 run in... "The Shape of Things."
