Oprah Denies Advising Prince Harry & Meghan Markle on Royal Exit!

Oprah would very much like to be excluded from this narrative.

On Friday, the legendary television host shot down a Page Six report that claimed she helped advise Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on stepping back from their royal duties to split time between England and North America and become financially independent.

“Meghan and Harry do not need my help figuring out what’s best for them,” the chairwoman and CEO of Harpo Productions said in a statement to People.

“I care about them both and support whatever decisions they make for their family,” she added.

Per the report, the star of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” was one of the first people the couple leaned on for advice on “breaking free.” The source also said the media executive encouraged the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to move to the U.S. and build their own brand.

The Page Six insider also said they got advice from Barack and Michelle Obama, as well as George and Amal Clooney.

Per a Thursday tweet from ITV royal editor Chris Ship, the former “Suits” actress has returned to Canada to presumably pick up the couple’s 8-month-old son, Archie, who was believed to be in the country during the big announcement.

Harry reportedly stayed in Britain to presumably talk to his family about his future.
