Tyler Gwozdz, who appeared on Hannah Brown’s season of “The Bachelorette,” has died.
According to the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner’s Office, the reality TV personality passed away Wednesday. He was 29.
Per TMZ on Thursday, officers and paramedics in Boca Raton, Florida, rushed to his home January 13 for a possible overdose.
In the 911 call obtained by People, a woman broke down a bathroom door and turned Gwozdz on his back. She then tried to find Narcan, a nasal spray that can help reverse an opioid overdose.
Authorities transported Gwozdz to the ICU, and he was hospitalized for at least a week.
Gwozdz mysteriously left the dating program in the third episode, and Brown told her other suitors he “had to leave.”
Tyler later told Refinery29, “This was a decision that I came to with producers, and something that I’ve come to realize… is the best decision that could’ve been made.” He also said his exit was not aired due to privacy issues.
His ABC profile listed Gwozdz’s occupation as “psychology graduate student.”
