Kylie Jenner Says She Flew with Pilot on Helicopter That Killed Kobe Bryant

Kylie Jenner has revealed her personal connection to Sunday’s helicopter crash that claimed the lives of nine people, including Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna.

On Monday on Instagram Story, the “Life of Kylie” star paid tribute to the victims, revealing she used to fly on the same rotorcraft with pilot Ara Zobayan, who perished in the crash.

“Rest in peace..and prayers to these families. I still can’t believe this,” the Kylie Cosmetics founder wrote. “That was the helicopter I would fly on from time to time with that pilot, Ara. He was such a nice man. Hold your loved ones close.”

According to multiple outlets, the makeup mogul rented out the chopper for niece Dream Kardashian’s third birthday in November 2019.

“Took dream on her first helicopter ride,” the billionaire wrote on social media at the time. “happy birthday baby girl.. you are a gift.”

Additionally, Dream’s dad, Rob Kardashian, posted interior and exterior pictures of the helicopter.

After news of the crash went viral, Kylie wrote a touching tribute to the NBA legend and his daughter.

“at loss for words right now. praying for this beautiful family,” Jenner exclaimed.

The other victims have been identified as Gianna’s basketball teammate Alyssa Altobelli; Alyssa’s father, Orange Coast College baseball coach, John Altobelli; Alyssa’s mother, Keri Altobelli; Harbor Day School basketball coach Christina Mauser; middle school student Payton Chester; and Payton’s mother, Sarah Chester.
