Introducing Bill Gates’ future son-in-law!
On Wednesday on Instagram, the Microsoft co-founder’s eldest daughter, Jennifer, revealed she got engaged to Egyptian show jumper Nayel Nassar.
While posting pictures from the engagement, which appears to be at a ski resort, the 23-year-old wrote, “Nayel Nassar, you are one of a kind. Absolutely swept me off my feet this past weekend, surprising me in the most meaningful location over one of our many shared passions. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives learning, growing, laughing and loving together. Yes a million times over.”
Nassar, who attended Stanford University with Jennifer, posted snaps on his page, exclaiming, “SHE SAID YES!!”
“I’m feeling like the luckiest (and happiest) man in the world right about now. Jenn, you are everything I could have possibly imagined..and so much more,” he wrote. “I can’t wait to keep growing together through this journey called life, and I simply can’t imagine mine without you anymore. Love you more than you can possibly imagine, and thank you for making every single day feel like a dream to me. Here’s to forever!”
In October 2019, Nassar helped Egypt qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games by winning the CSIO4*-W Nations Cup of Rabat.
Bill and his wife Melinda also share son Rory, 20, and daughter Phoebe, 17.
Last year, the software developer was listed as the second-wealthiest person in the world, behind Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos.
