Nick Gordon’s Cause of Death Revealed

Bobbi Kristina Brown's ex-boyfriend Nick Gordon died from a heroin overdose, according to his autopsy and toxicology report.

TMZ reports the document also said Gordon was found unresponsive and in cardiac arrest on New Year's Eve. Though he was hospitalized, Gordon passed away seven hours later, on New Year's Day.

Per the report, Nick had Narcan, a drug used to counteract the effects of an overdose, in his system.

On January 1, Gordon’s brother, Jack Walker Jr., told People magazine that Nick died following a drug overdose the night before. At the time, the publication reported the drug in question was heroin.

“We are devastated by the loss of my beautiful brother,” Walker Jr. said in a statement. “He leaves a void in the hearts of my family and his friends. Nick’s battle in life was not an easy one. I will be forever grateful that my God afforded a small moment at the very end of Nick’s life, and I was able to hold his hand as he journeyed on.”

According to 911 dispatch audio, Nick was found “not breathing,” and “black stuff was coming out of” his mouth.

DailyMail.com also reported that Gordon had suffered a series of heart attacks while in intensive care.

In 2016, Nick was found civilly liable for the death of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter, who had been found facedown and unconscious in a bathtub in her Alpharetta, Georgia, home the year before.

Bobbi Kristina ultimately died from lobar pneumonia in July 2015 at the age of 22.
