That day, E! News confirmed that Bynes’ fiancé is Paul Michael, who met the 33-year-old star in rehab.

Per the source, the two have been dating for about two to three months.

After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise [FIDM] last year, the former child star moved into a sober living facility.

An insider told E! News in December 2019 that Amanda left the facility but is "open to getting help.”

During a 2017 interview with Hollyscoop’s Diana Madison, Bynes admitted to previously being “on drugs.”

The next year, she revealed to Paper magazine that she “started smoking marijuana when [she] was 16,” and “definitely abused Adderall” on a regular basis.

In the explosive interview, Bynes also warned fans about the dangers of substance abuse.

“My advice to anyone who is struggling with substance abuse would be to be really careful because drugs can really take a hold of your life… Everybody is different, obviously, but for me, the mixture of marijuana and whatever other drugs and sometimes drinking really messed up my brain. It really made me a completely different person,” she exclaimed.

She continued, “There are gateway drugs, and thankfully I never did heroin or meth or anything like that, but certain things that you think are harmless, they may actually affect you in a more harmful way. Be really, really careful because you could lose it all and ruin your entire life like I did.”
