Josie Harris, Mother to 3 of Floyd Mayweather’s Kids, Found Dead in Car

Josie Harris, who had three children with ex-boyfriend Floyd Mayweather, has passed away at the age of 40.

Per TMZ, authorities were called to Harris’ Valencia, California, home Tuesday night at around 9:30 p.m. When they arrived, officials found Harris unresponsive in her car, and later pronounced her dead.

Law enforcement sources say there does not appear to be any foul play involved, and the case is being treated as a death investigation rather than a homicide.

Harris reportedly dated the boxer from 1995 to 2010, and the two had three children: Zion, Koraun, and Jirah. Mayweather also shares daughter Iyanna with Melissa Brim.

Harris had accused the athlete of abuse on numerous occasions.

In December 2011, Mayweather was sentenced to 90 days in jail for a domestic violence incident against Harris from the year before. He began his prison term in June 2012 and was released that August.

In May 2015, Harris filed a $20 million defamation lawsuit against Mayweather, claiming he lied about her being “on drugs” during an interview with Katie Couric. The case is still pending.

According to TMZ, Harris was an aspiring actress who was in the process of writing a book to help survivors of domestic abuse.

She will be missed.
