Michael Strahan is making startling allegations against ex-wife Jean Muggli.
Per legal documents obtained by TMZ on Wednesday, the former professional football player wants primary custody of their 15-year-old twin daughters, Isabella and Sophia, and accuses Muggli of physical and emotional abuse against the teenagers.
In the papers, the “Strahan, Sara & Keke” co-host claims Muggli has been engaging in a “pattern of abusive conduct towards the children for years,” and claims he will detail proof of the alleged abuse in future sealed documents.
The former “Live! With Kelly and Michael” co-anchor also alleges his ex-wife isn’t taking their kids to court-ordered therapy sessions and is the reason why Isabella and Sophia continue to miss volleyball matches and equestrian events.
Strahan also wants Muggli to be legally responsible for alleged offenses.
Additionally, the television personality wants his twin daughters to relocate from North Carolina — where they currently live with their mom — to New York.
However, Strahan, who currently has visitation rights, wants Muggli to have the same privileges.
Last September, the exes faced off in a New York courtroom over Strahan’s child support. While sources told TMZ that Muggli was seeking unpaid support, insiders close to Strahan claim she wanted to "modify" their prior settlement by increasing the monthly payments.
Strahan also shares daughter Tanita Strahan and son Michael Anthony Strahan Jr. with ex-wife Wanda Hutchins.
