Debbie Allen Is Hosting a FREE Dance Class to Cure Your Quarantine Blues!

Debbie Allen sure knows how to bring a smile to our faces!

Tuesday on Instagram, the legendary choreographer/actress/director announced she is hosting a free dance class on her Instagram Live on Wednesday, March 18, at 1 p.m. PST.

“FREE DANCE CLASS TOMORROW!” the Emmy winner exclaimed on her page. “… and lets get those bodies moving! All are welcome. Spread the word. HOLLA!”

After the “Grey’s Anatomy” executive producer’s post went viral, social media users couldn’t contain their excitement.

“In my wildest dreams I never imagined I’d get to dance with you - thank you - can’t wait!” an excited fan wrote in the comments section.

“You are a beautiful person! Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world,” said another.

Additionally, “Hairspray” director Adam Shankman RSVP’d by commenting, “I’m SOOO IN!!!”

Allen is best known for her role as dance teacher Lydia Grant in the 1980 movie “Fame” and its television series, which ran from January 1982 to May 1987.

In addition to “Grey’s Anatomy,” Allen has also directed episodes of “Scandal,” “Jane the Virgin,” and “How to Get Away with Murder.”
