Taraji P. Henson isn’t walking down the aisle just yet.
In an interview with “Extra” on Tuesday, the “Coffee & Kareem” star revealed she has postponed her nuptials to fiancé Kelvin Hayden — once again — this time, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“It’s probably going to be more like July,” she told host Billy Bush. “We have to see what this will be like at the other end.”
More than anything, the “Empire” actress is concerned about how her and Hayden’s elderly grandparents will travel amid the global health crisis.
“Our grandparents, my grandmother is about to turn 96; his is 86. How do we get them to the wedding now?” she exclaimed. “Now we are concerned, just trying to figure out the safest and best way.”
For now, Henson is safely quarantined with the former NFL star, as well as her 25-year-old son Marcell Johnson.
The 49-year-old previously moved her wedding day from April to June of this year because of family plans and her hectic work schedule.
“It’s overwhelming, because in my work life, I have dates and emails and now in my personal life it’s like, ‘Ah!’” she told People last month. “I don’t think people understand what goes into wedding planning. Trying to match everything up is so crazy.”
Despite the drama, Hayden remains cool and collected.
“Kelvin’s a typical guy; he doesn’t care,” Henson said. “He’s like, ‘Whatever you say babe, whatever you want babe!’ He’ll roll with it, but he wants his ring.”
Henson announced her engagement to Hayden in May 2018 on Instagram.
