Lea Michele has a bun in the oven!
On Monday, a source told People that the “Glee” alum is expecting her first child with husband Zandy Reich.
“They’ve always wanted to be parents,” the insider revealed.
In March 2019, the actress and the businessman tied the knot during a romantic ceremony in Northern California officiated by “Glee” co-creator Ryan Murphy.
“We are so excited to be married and grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family,” the two told People at the time. “And most of all, we’re so happy to spend the rest of our lives together.”
Among the 200 attendees included Michele’s “Glee” co-stars Darren Criss and Becca Tobin, as well as her “Scream Queens” castmate Emma Roberts.
Michele and Reich — who were first linked in July 2017 — got engaged on April 29, 2018, when Reich popped the question with a 4-carat elongated radiant-cut ring he co-designed with Leor Yerushalmi and The Jewelers of Las Vegas.
“I think the first thing I said to him was, ‘Stop joking around!’ So I was super surprised,” Michele dished to People. “Everyone said, ‘Try to be present because it’ll happen so quickly.’ Which I didn’t listen to at all and blacked out and I barely remember. We both blacked out and were like, ‘What? Did we say yes? Is this happening?’”
Of course, Michele has been vocal about her plans to start a family.
When asked by Health last September where she sees herself in five years, she answered, “Oh my gosh, I hope to be a mom of, like, 10 kids—if it’s physically possible to pop that many out! Ha! I’m so excited about the thought of being a mom.”
Congratulations to Lea and Zandy!
