Eminem Came Face-to-Face with a Home Intruder!

Eminem received an unwanted visitor at his Detroit-area home earlier this month.

According to personal and police sources via TMZ on Thursday, a man identified by law enforcement as Matthew David Hughes, 26, allegedly smashed the rapper’s kitchen window with a paving stone and then climbed inside the property at around 4 a.m.

After Eminem was woken up by an alarm, he got up and found the alleged trespasser in his living room.

The man was then detained by security guards, and later booked by police on two felonies: first-degree home invasion and malicious destruction of a building.

Though the MC lives in a gated community and has security posted in the front of his residence, Hughes allegedly snuck in through the back.

Reportedly, the alleged intruder didn’t try to steal anything, and simply wanted to meet the “8 Mile” actor.

As of Thursday, Hughes is still being held on a $50,000 bond at the Macomb County Jail.

Earlier this month, Eminem — who has been open about his history with substance abuse — celebrated 12 years of being clean by posting a picture of his sobriety coin.
