Katy Perry’s soon-to-be-born daughter has already inherited her mother’s sass!
Sunday on Instagram, the pregnant “Teenage Dream” singer posted a hilarious video where her and Orlando Bloom’s baby gives the “middle finger” during an ultrasound.
“when your unborn daughter gives you a middle finger from the womb you know you’re in for it #happymothersdaytome,” the “American Idol” judge captioned the funny clip.
The 35-year-old songstress previously announced her pregnancy in March when she showed off her baby bump at the end of her “Never Worn White” music video.
The next month, Perry revealed she and Bloom were expecting a baby girl by posting a photo of her fiancée covered in pink frosting.
Later that month, Perry opened up about the realities of being pregnant amid the coronavirus quarantine.
“I think, in a weird way, being on lockdown has forced me to slow down — which is probably, in turn, really good while I’m growing a child,” she told fans on Facebook Live.
“And it’s forced me to find even more balance. Because, when I have a child, I will still be at home, basically, and I’m not used to that. I’m used to, like, jet-setting everywhere,” she added.
Despite the maelstrom of negative headlines, Perry believes society will prosper once the pandemic is over.
“We are going to get through this, and we are going to be stronger because of it,” she exclaimed. “I feel like there’s going to be a united feeling. I feel like there’s going to be an empowered feeling. I feel like we will have more empathy. I feel like we hopefully will know what’s important.”
This is Perry’s first child, and Bloom’s second. He shares son Flynn, 9, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
