Gregory Tyree Boyce, known for playing Tyler Crowley in the “Twilight” film franchise, and girlfriend Natalie Adepoju were both found dead in their Las Vegas condo. He was 30, and she was 27.
On Monday, “E! News” reported that the couple passed away last week, on Wednesday, May 13. Their causes of death have yet to be determined.
According to law enforcement sources via TMZ on Monday, an unknown white powdery substance was allegedly found at the scene.
Per an “E! News” source, Boyce’s cousin found the two in their residence after the cousin thought Boyce had left for Los Angeles.
“Greg’s cousin woke up and noticed that Greg’s car was still at the house. He was worried because Greg was to be in L.A. His cousin went to check on him and found them,” the insider revealed.
The “E! News” source adds that Boyce lived in Las Vegas to help his mother Lisa Wayne with business, but “would commute to L.A. for acting jobs and to see his daughter [10-year-old Alaya].” The insider also noted that Boyce was “really focused and handling a lot of business.”
A second “E! News” insider said Boyce and Adepoju had been dating for “a little over a year.”
Per a GoFundMe page asking for monetary donations, Adepoju left behind one son, who was identified in what appears to be a since-deleted comment as “Egypt.”
Boyce’s family also released a statement to TMZ on Monday, remembering him as “a very respectful and responsible man.”
“We as family of Gregory Boyce are very saddened by our loss. He was a dad, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend. He was the light of all our lives and we are very saddened by his death,” it stated. “The Gregory we knew was intimate with the world and a good person. He was a very respectful and responsible man. He always put others first. The family would like to ask for our privacy as we mourn our losses and thank you for your well wishes.”
