FedEx Driver Helps 6-Year-Old Deliver Gift to Idol Tony Hawk!

A Georgia FedEx driver made a 6-year-old skateboarding fan’s dream come true!

Tuesday on TikTok, delivery service staff member Mikail Farrar posted a video detailing an unusual request he received from Cooper Morgan, a boy who lives in the town of Suwanee.

After Cooper flagged down Mikail’s truck, the youngster asked the essential employee to mail a heavily used skateboard to his idol Tony Hawk.

On one side of the board, Cooper had written his name, and on the other side, he had written “Tony Hawk.”

“Get this to Tony Hawk from me. Tell him it’s from Cooper,” the kid asked Mikail as Cooper’s mom winked and nodded nearby.

Although Mikail wanted to honor Cooper’s request, he was missing an important piece of information: Tony Hawk’s address.

“Obviously I can’t mail it to Tony Hawk. I don’t know Tony Hawk’s address,” Mikail explained.

Though he had no way to personally contact the athlete, Mikail hoped his video would somehow reach him.

“The least I can do is put it out there in the universe,” he says in the clip.

Hours after Mikail posted the TikTok, it received thousands of likes, and eventually got Hawk’s attention.

The next day, Hawk — who had not used the platform since 2018 — filmed a TikTok in which he accepted Cooper’s board, thanked Mikail for relaying the message, and revealed he was going to send Cooper a gift of his own!

“I just want to say thank you so much for the skateboard. It’s on its way to my house already, and as a thank you gift, I’m gonna send you my skateboard, this one right here that I’m riding,” Hawk says in the video.

In response, Mikail then posted a follow-up clip showing Cooper and his older brother Tucker expressing gratitude to Hawk for his sweet gift and message.

“I just wanna say thank you for the skateboard and you’re a really great skater,” Cooper says in the video.

“I’m a huge fan and I really, really, really like you, and there’s a board coming your way, so be prepared,” Tucker added.

On Thursday, Mikail told CNN that he was “totally shocked” when Hawk responded.

“I had low expectations. I was hopeful, but I just thought that celebrities went swimming in their money and looked in the mirror all day,” he joked to the outlet. “I don’t know what they do, but not Tony Hawk. He’s a special guy.”

While Cooper received Hawk’s package on Thursday morning, Hawk is expected to receive Cooper’s gift on May 27.
